          • Oilers' Olivier Rodrigue: Joining training camp

Rodrigue will take part in the Oilers' return to play training camp, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.

Rodrigue won't be getting into any playoff games, barring a real bad run of injuries, but the opportunity to practice with NHL players will no doubt help his long-term development. The 19-year-old went 31-7-1 with a .918 save percentage and 2.32 GAA in 39 appearances for QMJHL Moncton this year.

          • Oilers' Philip Broberg: Set to join camp

Broberg will link up with the Oilers' training camp ahead of the NHL's return to play, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.

Selected by Edmonton with the eighth overall pick in the 2019 NHL Draft, Broberg has yet to make the transition to North America after logging 45 games with Swedish club Skelleftea AIK. The 19-year-old won't offer much in terms of offensive upside, so fantasy owners probably won't want to start stashing him away in keeper leagues.

          • Oilers' Dmitri Samorukov: Inks overseas deal

Samorukov agreed to terms on a one-year deal with CSKA Moscow on Friday, Sport-Express.ru reports.

Oilers in the third round of the 2017 NHL Draft, the 20-year-old blueliner still has two more years left on his entry-level deal to try and make his return to North America as well as his NHL debut.

          • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Wins scoring title

Draisaitl has been awarded the Art Ross Trophy for leading the league in scoring with 110 points in 71 games this year.

Draisaitl has become a bonafide superstar over the past two seasons. The 24-year-old German burst onto the scene with 50 goals and 105 points in 82 games last year only to follow it up with an arguably even more impressive 43 goals and 67 assists in 71 games this campaign. He and teammate Connor McDavid will both be top-3 picks in the majority of fantasy formats next season.

          • Oilers' Zack Kassian: Ties career high in goals

Kassian tallied 15 goals and 34 points through 59 games before play was paused in mid-March.

The big guy matched his career high in goals from last year and likely would set a new best in the team's remaining 11 games should regular-season play resume. As usual, Kassian has continued to provide muscle on a line with superstar Connor McDavid in dishing out 157 hits, which ranks 33rd in the league despite the fact he's missed 12 games due to suspension (nine) and injury (three). The 29-year-old carries some risk due to his undisciplined play at times, but those in deeper formats that count hits have gotten some decent value from the oft-maligned winger.

          • Oilers' Oscar Klefbom: Paces Edmonton blueliners

Klefbom recorded 34 points in 62 games prior to the league suspension of play in mid-March.

Though he's had trouble staying healthy the last few seasons, Klefbom's game continues to improve. He's just four points off his career-high 38 set in 2016-17 (in 20 additional games) and has also reached new personal bests in assists (29), ice time (25:25), power-play ice time (3:38), power-play points (18) and blocked shots (180). He leads the Oilers' back end in points and has received the fifth most ice time in the entire NHL, making him an asset every fantasy owner should covet. Just be mindful of Klefbom's unsightly minus-17 rating if your league counts that statistic.

          • Oilers' James Neal: Back on track?

Neal produced 19 goals and 31 points in 55 games prior to the pause of play in mid-March.

          • Oilers' Filip Berglund: Signs two-year deal

Berglund inked a two-year, entry-level contract with Edmonton on Friday.

Berglund was drafted by the Oilers in the third round of the 2016 NHL Draft and has spent the past four seasons playing for Skelleftea AIK in the Swedish Hockey League. In 200 SHL appearances, the 22-year-old has notched 10 goals and 43 helpers, in addition to another four assists in 31 postseason contests. The blueliner will be joining Linkoping HC for the upcoming 2020-21 campaign before making the jump to North America.

          • Oilers' Markus Niemelainen: Grabs entry-level deal

Niemelainen inked a two-year, entry-level contract with Edmonton on Thursday.

Niemelainen notched one goal and six helpers in 55 contests with Assat Pori last year. Following his junior career, the 21-year-old has spent the past three seasons playing in Finland. The 21-year-old is expected to stick with Assat for the 2020-21 campaign before making a return to North America.

          • Oilers' Theodor Lennstrom: Signs with Edmonton

Lennstrom signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Oilers on Wednesday.

Lennstrom spent the 2019-20 campaign with Frolunda HC of the SHL, notching three goals and 15 points while posting a plus-9 rating in 31 games. The 25-year-old blueliner will get an invite to next year's training camp, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him spend the bulk of the 2020-21 campaign with AHL Bakersfield adjusting to the North American brand of hockey.

          • Oilers' Gaetan Haas: Lands one-year extension

Haas signed a one-year, $915,000 contract extension with the Oilers on Tuesday.

Haas has been solid while skating in a bottom-six role for Edmonton this season, picking up five goals and 10 points while averaging 9:42 of ice time per contest through 58 appearances. The 28-year-old pivot will likely have a similar, if not identical role with the Oilers in 2020-21, so don't expect him to be a viable fantasy option next season.
